Excited to work with new people!


 It is now my second project this year. I learned a lot on the first one, mainly that having only two people in my group was difficult. So I decided to add two others to my group. People I know will be hard-working and reliable with good media skills. Classmates that will be responsible for their part of the project and someone I will be able to work well with inside and outside of school. So I have decided to work with Sophia Pollock as well as Ella Wills and Darrow Nasca. Sophia and I have worked on my school projects together so I know she will be a good partner. She is hard-working, kind, organized, reliable and responsible making her the perfect partner. Ella and I have been friends since we were little so I know she will make a good partner and the same with Darrow. They are both hard working and will make the music video enjoyable to work on too. I have good acting skills because I acted in plays for fun when I was younger, I have always enjoyed acting. Sophia has great filming and camera skills, she is also good at drawing and music. I am sure my group will make a great team! I know challenges will come up this year but my group and I will work together to overcome them and create the best work we can. Being in the Montessori program at my elementary and middle school and being in the Cambridge program here at FLHS has taught me a lot about group work. The challenges and how to overcome them, the good and fun things about working in a group and also what can happen when you don't have such a good group. I hope to learn more from working with my group this year. I know we will do good work and have fun making it at the same time. I have always been interested in film and acting and I'm glad I get to take a class on it this year. I am excited for all the projects to come this year and for an awesome partner to work with.

Done, done, done!

 So that was the end of the filming. All that's left to do now is edit. I began by trimming our clips to the appropriate length. I listened to the individual who had an opinion. The brightness was adjusted. I tweaked the angles. It took me some time to figure out how to utilize iMovie. As a result, I experimented with several editing programs. I ended up preferring iMovie and went back to my first choice. It was difficult for me to choose music. I also didn't want to utilize music that was protected by copyright. I spent two hours attempting to come up with some suspenseful background music. My group was examining our video as I was editing. I had a feeling my group wouldn't be able to finish editing today. My group viewed a number of editing videos. So far, my favorite aspect of this endeavor has been becoming closer with my group.
