Filming is stressful!


 Today I started filming. I was looking forward to it a lot, but it turned out to be a lot more stressful than I thought. The plan was for Sophia and Darrow to come home with me after school to start filming. When the bell rang and it was time to go I texted Darrow because I could not find him. He was not answering so I kept calling until 20 minutes later he called saying he was at home sleeping. He could not come until later and I was not very happy. I then drove home and had to wait, about an hour after I got home Darrow said he could film now but he needed a ride to my house. So I had to drive all the way to his house to pick him up and come back to mine. At the moment I am fostering puppies at my house, there is three of them and the mom, they are super cute. Once we got back to mine everyone got distracted playing with the puppies which wasted a lot of time. I finally made the decision to get to work. I got my cow boy hat and my boots but I did not know if I should wear jeans or a jean shirt. First I tried on the jeans, they looked good but there was a belt I wanted to wear and they did not look good together. I then tried the skirt on with the belt and it matched the cow boy persona well, it also made the boots stand out more. I put on my red shirt and it looked perfect. Then I had to help Darrow pick out his outfit. He put on a first pair if jeans but they were too tight. The second pair he tried on were perfect and was a similar wash as my jean skirt so we matched well. He put on a white t shirt and I gave him a red cow boy hat to wear which matched with my red shirt so it looked good together. By the time everything was ready, it was already dark out and we had to film in the day time. I decided it would be better to just film tomorrow so we took everything off and got our outfits to they would be ready for tomorrow. Moral of the story is I need to manage time better.

Done, done, done!

 So that was the end of the filming. All that's left to do now is edit. I began by trimming our clips to the appropriate length. I listened to the individual who had an opinion. The brightness was adjusted. I tweaked the angles. It took me some time to figure out how to utilize iMovie. As a result, I experimented with several editing programs. I ended up preferring iMovie and went back to my first choice. It was difficult for me to choose music. I also didn't want to utilize music that was protected by copyright. I spent two hours attempting to come up with some suspenseful background music. My group was examining our video as I was editing. I had a feeling my group wouldn't be able to finish editing today. My group viewed a number of editing videos. So far, my favorite aspect of this endeavor has been becoming closer with my group.
