The Stargazing Date

 Today was our third and last day filming. We filmed the night scenes where we are stargazing. I had to wait until 7 to film because it needed to be dark. Since we did not film until late, I decided to pick out my outfit and get everything ready beforehand. I decided to wear jeans for today’s cow boy look along with a white t-shirt and cow boy boots. Once it got dark it was time to go pick up Darrow. He needed help picking out an outfit so I went inside to help out. Last time he wore a white T-shirt so I told him to wear black today.  Darrow wanted to wear the black cow boy hat so I wore the red one. Our outfits had the perfect cow boy persona so we were ready to film. Originally the plan was to film at mine but since we were at Darrow’s I decided it was easier to stay at his also because there was a park nearby. That’s a wrap!

 Today was the end. We’re finally done with the music video and second project this year. Yesterday we finished filming and today was the end of editing. Editing did not take too long today. We used an app called iMovie to edit our commercial. Since all of the filming was done on my phone I decided it made the most sense to edit on my phone too. Sophia did most of the hands on editing while I made suggestions. First, some of the clips needed adjusting, so while Sophia made sure they were the right length, I cropped them to make each scene perfect. All of the clips were also looking a little dull so I decided to add some brightness and a filter to it so it would look happier and brighter. Sophia and I had a difference in opinion on what filter we should use. I thought the super bright one looked better while she liked the one that was a little darker. Research Commercial

 My group is doing a Jan-sport commercial. In these types of commercials the audience will typically see students at school doing normal activities such as walking to class and talking to friends. The actors will wear active clothes or comfortable school appropriate clothes such as jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and shoes like vans or converse. This will present the setting as a regular day at school. Props include Jan-sport backpacks, water bottle, laptop, notebooks, and folders. Their appearance should be happy and cheerful, smiling and talking with friends at school, as well as running and jumping around showing the durability of the product. Score- upbeat, fast-paced music and sound effects to show the cheerful mood throughout the commercial, although music will come to a stop during the necessary scenes for added dramatic effect.
